Elizabeth Samudio has been diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer.
Her friends are asking for help with raising money to pay for the medical expenses for her surgery and treatment. Elizabeth, a transplant from Washington State to Fort Worth, brought her commitment of green living to north Texas ten years ago. Her roots go deep into the fertile culture of the Pacific Northwest. Her family cultivated farm living, land development and the wilderness into her at an early age. Elizabeth’s love of nature grew into an all organic garden and ecofriendly landscape business — Elizabeth Anna’s Urban Farm and Market that she owns and runs with her husband, James. Elizabeth says, “We place high value on the way we treat the earth God asked us to love, the people God shares as gifts, and the responsibility of the knowledge we gain by studying creation and nature.” Elizabeth has given so much to the community: she teaches the love of nature to kids in her farm school classes, she and James give countless amounts of food and produce to those in need, she has designed breathtaking landscapes throughout the region with native flowers, trees and plantings. Elizabeth and James’ shop is a paradise of beautiful plants, goats, chickens and ducks – a place where people can treasure Mother Nature. Her friends know her as a woman in a class of her own whose joy and creativity change lives. Now Elizabeth needs our help. Please help Elizabeth fight.
